Description
Lady's writing desk simulating a chiffonier, decorated with rosewood veneer underlined by a compound fillet and framed in amaranth. It opens with a drawer, a flap concealing a small pedestal with two wide drawers and three drawers in the lower section. It has canted sides veneered with false fluting and rests on a small straight base. Ornamented with small entrances, the top is in grey Saint Anne veined marble moulded with a cavet. Parisian work from the Louis XVI period. NB: Lock on top drawers later, key missing. Slight deformations on both sides. Height 110 - Depth 34.5 - Width 52 cm.
