Set of turned wooden objects.
1) Two shaker bottles: one pear-shaped with a pedestal, body and screw-top cap; the other bulbous with a screw-top cap; late 19th to early 20th century, H. 11 and 15 cm; one has a large crack and is missing its foot; the other has chips and cracks.
2) Boxwood bottle holder, containing a glass bottle, late 19th to early 20th century, H. 9 cm, with a stain; the screw thread is missing and the stopper of the glass bottle is missing.
3) Small corozo box in the shape of a covered urn, decorated with a pattern of concentric circles and a frieze of raised beads; removable screw-on lid, late 19th to early 20th century, H. 7 cm, with chips and cracks.
4) Small circular bowl on a moulded pedestal with a rounded rim; the centre of the bowl is decorated with a small round wooden marquetry panel; the bowl is assembled from three parts, 20th century, H. 10 cm, stains on the bowl.
5) Partially spherical nutcracker, with a bilboquet-shaped handle on the screw mechanism, marked ‘Touan’, 20th century, length when closed: 14 cm, cracks and chips.
