Two purses and two hand-held cases.
1) Rectangular, domed purse with rounded corners; tortoiseshell panels; one side featuring a shield, scalloped octagonal motifs, pearls and stars; blue silk interior with four gussets; brass mount; L. 7 cm, W. 4.5 cm; wear to the silk; tear.
2) Scalloped-shaped purse, with tortoiseshell panels; one side decorated with two oval medallions featuring festoon and floral motifs beneath a crown of pearls and gilded brass fleurons; violet silk interior with three gussets; leather mount; L. 7 cm, W. 5 cm, silk badly torn, gilding worn.
3) Silver-plated hand mirror with a handle featuring a frieze of leaves and foliage, round mirrors, metal frame, height when closed: 10 cm, showing signs of wear.
4) Tortoiseshell hand mirror, rectangular lenses, silver-plated metal frame, height when closed: 7 cm, one arm bent, inlaid piece on the frame, scratches, does not close properly.
