A pair of crystal dish stands and their bases, made from moulded crystal and decorated with a frieze of foliage scrolls against a background of picots, a wide band of diamond-point motifs repeated on the base and the polygonal lid, an octagonal pyramidal handle, a stem with a knob decorated with fluting, and a bevelled base. Late 19th century to early 20th century. H. 35 cm, D. 15 cm, rim diameter: 18.5 cm. Minor original imperfections: chips and small areas missing from the rims, pitting on the inside of one lid, and very slight pitting on the inside of one sugar bowl.
