Two carafes with silver bands.
1) Spherical glass carafe with slight ribbing, decorated with an engraved design of foliage-patterned rocaille and flowers alternating with cascading leaves, flowers and scrollwork; neck with a silver band of domed rings.
Minerve 1st Title, Master Silversmith (incomplete), H. 22.5 cm, D. 13 cm, gross weight: 1,078 g, internal hallmark.
2) Glass carafe lined with red glass, with a rectangular base, triangular short sides, and a body featuring curved flat ribs and triangular flat ribs, engraved with leafy and flowered grape-harvesters’ baskets held in place by a knotted ribbon; neck fitted with a silver band.
