View of London Bridge on the Thames
Grey wash over black pencil lines.
(Insolate paper, foxing, large crease in the upper right corner, the paper is warped).
Height 19.5 cm; Width: 36.5 cm.
The paper shows a watermark very close to Briquet number 7210: papers known in Amsterdam between 1590 and 1640.
Two drawings by van der Vinne from the same point of view with many variations on the boats are preserved, one in the Morgan Librairy (inv.1980.16), the other in the Teylers Museum (S 036).
