Reunion of three beautiful cage belt buckles.
France, Louis-Philippe period, mid-19th century
A rare hammered brass buckle with rows of small pearls encircling a steel bar circled with bows of round or navette-shaped faceted steel points, one in pompon on gilt metal with an oak leaf motif in relief, and a third in stamped pompon with a scalloped edge with a motif of shells, foliage and scrolls with stylised rosettes.
