Curious neo-Gothic heraldic chatelaine in silver (800 thousandths) and 18k gold (750 thousandths).
France or England, second half of the 19th century
Clasp with a crowned lion bearing a shield with a thistle (Scotland?). Snap hook attached to one of the lion's claws and spatula hook hinged to the back with attachment chain linked to a pin.
Guarantee hallmark, boar's head and crab for small works commissioned on 10 May 1838 on the hook and DAUBREE hallmark on the back of the clasp.
