Louis Honoré Le Jeans (1734-1794) was the son of Guillaume Le Jeans, lawyer at the Court of Provence in Salon, assessor in Marseille, merchant, and Marie Blanche Rostan. A trader in Marseille, in partnership with his brother Lazare Le Jeans, he was a deputy of the Third Estate to the Estates General of 1789 for the seneschaussée of Marseille. He married Marie-Jeanne Clary, daughter of François Clary and sister-in-law of Joseph Bonaparte and Bernadotte. Widowed, she remarried to Baron Joseph Pézenas de Pluvinal.
