CHINA, QING Dynasty (1644-1911) A pair of large gilt bronze and cloisonné enamelled archaistic 'zun' vases decorated with taotie masks on the body and stylised lotus flowers on a turquoise blue background. The neck is decorated with friezes of cicadas formed by stylised Taotie masks. The rims in the form of stylised ormolu dragons, the shoulder adorned with three wave-shaped knobs. (Slight dent). Height Height : 46 cm Note: Lot sold under the temporary importation tax regime. The buyer will have to pay, in addition to the sale price, a 5.5% temporary import fee.
