JAPAN, MEIJI period (1868-1912) An ivory Okimono (elephantidae spp) with yellow patina, Buddha seated in padmasana on a base in the form of a double inverted lotus, hands in dhyana mudra. (Chips and accidents on the back). Weight : 459 g. ; Height. Height : 15 cm (//) An ivory specimen of Elephantidae spp (I/A) pre-Convention, prior to 1 July 1947 and therefore in conformity with EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc, and prior to 1 July 1975 and therefore in conformity with the French decrees of 4 May 2017 and January 2022.
