Arai Masaharu II/III 二/三代荒井正春 (Japan, 20th century) Round incense (kōgō) box in fundame lacquer with gold and silver lacquer hira maki-e and kirikane decoration of chrysanthemums and orchids. The interior in ginji lacquer with hira maki-e decoration in shukin and green lacquer of plum blossoms and bamboo. Fukusa signed Masaharu and stamped.
