Description
German officer's sabre attributed to the 25th Württemberg Dragoon Regiment "Queen Olga".
Handle in stingray with filigree. Gilt brass mount with lion's head and red glass eyes, Blücher-style guard with two half-oreillons, one of which is decorated with the numeral "O" under a royal crown (Queen Olga).
Fine WKC round-backed blade, engraved on the back "CA STAHLE STUTTGART" and engraved with a cartouche "BELTMANN s/l Henke 1913".
Black lacquered scabbard (oxidation) with one strap.
With damaged officer's leather strap and aluminium trimmings.
