Straight-sided wooden secretary desk with mahogany veneer The upper section opens to reveal a drawer and a drop-down writing surface, upholstered in morocco leather with gold-stamped trim, and concealing a niche and six small drawers. The lower section features four drawers at the front. Brass lock plates (with two keys). Top in veined black marble. Louis-Philippe period, 1830–1848. H.: 155 – W.: 96 – D.: 42 cm.
