Émile GALLÉ (1846 - 1904)
Moulded walnut music cabinet with a multi-lobed top decorated with a marquetry of sparrows in front of the setting sun, surmounting an open compartment, a central drawer opening on both sides and five vertical compartments. The corner legs are curved and carved. The sides are decorated with bees on the left and a musical score on the right, surmounted by a hollowed-out floral design. Bronze drawer handles with vegetal bodies.
Signed in the marquetry on the top shelf.
