SOCIETY OF FRIENDS OF THE FRENCH MEDAL by Alexandre CHARPENTIER (1856–1909). Rectangular bronze plaque with bevelled edges (73 x 68 mm), issued in 1901, weight 154.32 g. Obverse: A nude woman, seen in profile, engraving a plaque. Reverse: Four men with bare torsos examining a medal. Copy no. 164, Maier 11.
