THE SIEGE OF BREDA Bronze cast (66 mm) dated 1637. Obverse: The coat of arms of Frederick Henry of Orange between an armed arm emerging from the clouds and a scene showing a barge entering a fortress, with a woman on the bank suffering from starvation. Reverse: A 14-line inscription within a shield surmounted by the coat of arms of the Netherlands and surrounded by a floral border. Ref: Van Loon II, pp. 232–234 Condition: Almost Superb
