René Lalique. 1860–1945. Bourgueil model. Model created in 1930. Set in blown-and-moulded white glass with moulded-and-pressed stem and stopper, featured in the 1932 catalogue; production continued until 1947. The set comprises a carafe, 25 cm high, and Madeira glasses: 8.4 cm. 8 glasses in total, one with a chip. The model is decorated with stepped geometric friezes. Bears the mark ‘René Lalique France’. The set was produced before 1945, as indicated by its marking.
