A pair of rectangular panels of black lacquered wood with inlaid bone, mother-of-pearl and ivory decoration, each depicting a bodhisattva on a mount, surrounded by three cranes in flight and a few tufts of grass at their feet, with Kannon seated on an elephant and holding a lotus stem on one panel, and Monju Bosatsu standing on a lion and holding a scroll on the other; a square seal bearing two characters at the bottom.
