SERIES OF TWELVE TABLE KNIVES, EIGHTEEN FRUIT KNIVES AND EIGHTEEN CHEESE KNIVES, forged silver handles (925). PARIS, TALLOIS & MAYENCE, circa 1880 (Minerve). Model with floral and foliate decoration, ferrule with frieze of ovals and tracery, applied AS monogram gilded on the handle or engraved (for 12 table knives). The blades bear the maker's mark (variants). The series are presented in their cases, two of which are marked AS on the lid and one with the maker's mark on the lid (variant). Two cheese knives and ten fruit knives are very worn, as is one box. Gross weight 2254 g.
