D'ASTANIERES Clément (1841–1917) “Returning from line fishing in the Savane du Capbreton” – terracotta bas-relief, titled at the top and signed in the bottom left-hand corner – Dimensions: 34 x 17 cm The Count d’Astanières (Eugène Nicolas Clément d’Astanières), born in Paris on Rue Montmartre on 2 March 1841 and died in Capbreton on 30 January 1918, was a French sculptor of the second half of the 19th century.
