Violin bow made circa 1925–1930 by Marie Louis PIERNOT (bow stick), with a later-fitted frog and missing button, signed “L. PIERNOT in Paris’ on the stick, above the frog, with nickel silver fittings. 51.9 g, made of pernambuco wood. In good condition. Knotty end to the stick. (Loop and cover missing) Appraisal: Jean-François RAFFIN Expert Bowmakers’ Workshop, Paris. A certificate from the Jean-François Raffin Expert Bowmakers’ Workshop may be issued at the buyer’s expense, upon request to the workshop.
