Small quarto notebook, 24 numbered leaves, bound in a sheet of reused parchment (one corner missing, modern name stamped on the cover).
A tabular record of winegrowers’ activities, probably in the vicinity of Vézelay. Handwritten title on the cover; a few blank leaves. The opening entry provides the owner’s name: ‘Gabriel Tremeau began surveying the vineyard of C[itoy]en Regardin the Elder, residing in Paris, in the year 1795’. Mention is made of a ‘vineyard at Chaumont’. The other winegrowers mentioned are Philibert Blandin, Pierre Thouart, Pierre Rousseau and Jacques Blandin.
