A collection of four 19th-century works on the history of the Yonne:
TARBÉ (Théodore). Historical Research on the Department of the Yonne… and Notes on the History of the Main Towns… Published in Sens by Jeulain; Paris, Chamerot, 1848.
In-12, contemporary light brown half-basane, plain spine, title, gilt fillet and roulettes, embossed fleurons (spine faded, small tears to the headbands, notes and a modern label on 3 pages, dry-stamped on the title page).
First edition.

In-8, red half-basane, plain spine, gilt title and fillets (underlining on pp. 60 and 90).

8vo, 268 pp., contemporary dark green Russian half-leather, spine with five raised bands, author’s name and title in gold.
A copy containing a few modern annotations and underlinings, and notably featuring an engraved portrait of the author, four coloured plates, a drawing, and a plan of Meaulne Castle.
