Description
LE PELETIER DE SAINT-FARGEAU (Michel). Works… preceded by a biography by Félix Lepeletier, his brother; followed by historical documents relating to his life, his death and the period. Brussels, Lacrosse, 1826.
In-8, early 20th-century brown half-shagreen, spine with 5 raised bands, gilt title, gilt coat of arms at the tail (title and portrait stained).
An edition illustrated with a portrait of Michel Le Pelletier, a lithographed fold-out facsimile, and possibly a portrait of Félix Le Pelletier, which is missing here. This copy is enhanced with three loose-leaf portraits of the author (two engraved and one lithographed by Delpech), and also contains a plate that was probably added later.
