Deed of sale for one ‘ouvrée’ of vineyard land situated ‘within the parish of Valloux’, drawn up by Maître Piere Houdaille, notary of Avallon, between Joseph Testot, a weaver of Vermoiron, and his wife Marie Ragot. 15 January 1773. One sheet on stamped parchment, 25 x 19 cm, signatures + 1 sheet on vellum, approx. 29 x 43 cm, constituting letters of ratification, 15 April 1774, signature, seal (creases, small hole in the centre, a second seal may be missing). Enclosed is a copy of a deed of transfer for a house in Avallon, known as ‘Le Pilier vert’, and a garden. 12 May and 16 June 1782. A small folio notebook, on stamped parchment, [31] pages, signature.
