RIBIÈRE (Hippolyte), An Essay on the History of Printing in the Department of Yonne, with Particular Reference to Auxerre, followed by a Catalogue of Books, Pamphlets and Printed Materials Produced in that City from 1580 to 1857. Auxerre, Perriquet Press, 1858. In-8, [2] leaves, 378 pp., 2 plates, one of which is a double plate, blue half-basane with modern corners, spine with 4 raised bands, author’s name, title and fleurons gilded (a few lines underlined in red). This copy is enriched with 2 inserted handwritten letters and 12 small loose leaves, both old and modern, relating to the local printing trade.
