LARGE BYZANTINE IRON PROCESSIONAL CROSS.
Ca. AD 900 - 1000.
A large iron processional cross with flaring arms, each terminating in rounded knobs at the corners, the ends slightly widened and arched. The vertical shaft tapers towards a bulbous knop and faceted baluster. Mounted on a modern stand. Mounted on a modern stand.
