LATE ROMAN / EARLY BYZANTINE SILVER RITUAL SPOON. Ca. AD 400 - 600. A silver spoon with a long, tapering handle surmounted by a decorative finial, the lower section curving gently into a stylised dolphin-form element that connects to an ovate bowl with slightly raised sides.
