PAIR OF BYZANTINE GOLD AND PEARL EARRINGS. Ca. AD 500 - 600. A matched pair of gold earrings, each with a round-section hoop suspending a vertical pendant of a cuboid bead above small ribbed spacers and a pair of spherical pearls, terminating in a tiny coiled finial.
