LATE ROMAN / EARLY BYZANTINE HIGH KARAT GOLD RING WITH GLASS CABOCHON. Ca. AD 400 - 600. A gold ring with a plain circular hoop mounted with an oval bezel edged by a beaded border with small rounded side projections, set with an oval glass gem displaying an iridescent surface.
