EGYPTIAN FAIENCE COLUMN-SHAPED MODEL WITH LOTIFORM CAPITAL. Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 332 - 30 BC. A faience model of a column, with a cylindrical shaft and an expanded capital composed of four volute-like lobes. The capital is decorated with vertical ridges resembling stylised calyx structures.
