LARGE COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN FAIENCE AND GLASS PENDANTS AND AMULETS. New Kingdom to Third Intermediate Period, Ca. 1550 - 664 BC. A large collection of faience and glass pendants and amulets, including representations of Bes with tambourine, hes vase, cornflower, wedjat eyes, nefer signs, crown, various floral and symbolic forms, and also faience and glass beads in tubular and ring shapes. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
