EGYPTIAN FAIENCE OFFERING CUP. Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A pale turquoise faience offering cup of waisted form with a rounded rim and a flaring base. One side bears a short horizontal inscription in dark blue hieroglyphs identifying the contents once held within. For similar see: Christie's, Live Auction 2323, Antiquities, Lot. 45.
