COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN GLASS INLAYS. Ca. 332 BC - AD 200. A pair of glass inlays. One fragment displays a dark ground with a repetitive motif of stylised lotus flowers in yellow with red details. The other, rectangular in shape, consists of alternating dark and yellow horizontal bands with undulating contours, bordered in red. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
