COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN FAIENCE BEADS. Ca. 1550 - 30 BC. A collection of faience beads, comprising a variety of shapes including melon, spherical, and tubular forms, as well as figural types, in shades of turquoise, green, cream, and brown. Several beads are arranged in small restrung groups. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
