EGYPTIAN FAIENCE USHABTI.
New Kingdom to Third Intermediate Period, Ca. 1550 - 664 BC.
A faience ushabti, mummiform and wearing a tripartite wig framing a rounded face. Forearms crossed over the chest and grasping agricultural implements, with a seed basket on the back beneath the wig. A vertical column of hieroglyphs runs down the front of the lower body.
