RARE EGYPTIAN FAIENCE CONCUBINE FIGURINE.
Middle Kingdom to New Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1069 BC.
A faience figurine of a kneeling woman on a small rectangular base, the compact body posed with the knees drawn forward and the feet tucked beneath. Both hands are raised to the sides of the head. The face is broad with a straight nose and small closed lips, and a short striated wig covers the crown and falls to the sides.
