EGYPTIAN FAIENCE USHABTI WITH INSCRIPTION.
Late Period, 26th Dynasty, Ca. 620 BC.
A faience mummiform ushabti with a plain wig falling to the shoulders and a rounded face with a false beard. The forearms are crossed on the chest above a tapering body descending to a small square plinth. The front bears horizontal lines of hieroglyphs, and a narrow back pillar runs from the crown to the base.
