EGYPTIAN FAIENCE TORSO OF A MAN.
Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1790 BC.
A turquoise-green faience torso of a concubine. The head is modelled with a rounded face, large eyes, broad cheeks, and a prominent nose, framed by a black wig that falls evenly to the shoulders.
