EGYPTIAN FAIENCE USHABTI WITH INSCRIPTION.
Late Period, 26th Dynasty, Ca. 620 BC.
A faience mummiform ushabti, modelled with a tripartite wig and plaited false beard. The forearms are crossed on the chest, grasping agricultural tools, with a seed bag slung over the left shoulder. A dorsal pillar runs down the back, and the tapering lower body ends in a small square foot.
