A tongue frieze encircles the shoulder. The principal panel shows a nude youth with one foot set on a rock facing a draped woman; both stand on a groundline above a running wave, the scene framed by tall tendrils and scrolling palmettes. The reverse depicts two himation-clad youths engaged in conversation. The neck bears, on one side, a large female head in profile, the so-called "Lady of Fashion", with beaded sakkos, necklace and earring set among tendrils, and, on the other, a large palmette.
