LARGE GREEK SOLID GOLD RING WITH BEE. Ca. 500 - 300 BC. A solid gold signet ring with a large oval bezel engraved with a bee shown from above, with paired antennae, articulated legs, and a segmented abdomen flanked by wings. From the bezel, broad shoulders taper into a narrow hoop. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1872,0604.78.
