GREEK PERIOD BRONZE FITTING WITH RECUMBENT LION. Ca. 500 BC. A bronze fitting with a rectangular body. At the top is a recumbent lion modelled with a rounded head, a defined mane, and forelegs extending over the upper edge of the fitting. For similar see: J.
