PAIR OF GREEK PERIOD BRONZE SWORDS.
Ca. 1200 - 900 BC.
A pair of bronze short swords, including, from left to right: a long tapering blade with a multi-fluted face running from the forte to the point, set above a stepped guard, a waisted grip with a central moulding, and a large crescentic pommel with up-turned terminals; and a slender triangular blade with waisted profile rising from a narrow guard, a grip with three mouldings, and a small crescentic pommel.
