COLLECTION OF APULIAN XENON WARE VESSELS. Ca. 350 - 300 BC. A collection of three Xenon ware vessels, including, from left to right: a stemmed kantharos with high rounded handles, a short neck and a swollen ovoid body with waterfowl in added red on the black glaze; a trefoil-lipped oinochoe with concave neck, piriform body and low annular foot, decorated with a swan in added red; and a small kantharos with opposed loop handles and a rounded body on a ring foot, the shoulder with a frieze of running meander on one face and a running hare on the reverse.
