GREEK GEOMETRIC BRONZE PAIR OF HORSES. Ca. 800 - 700 BC. A cast bronze pair of stylised horses set side by side, the larger with an arched neck and incised mane, the head inclined with large circular eyes, the legs braced and tail raised, the smaller at the right hind flank with an arched body, an elongated head with circular eyes, and projecting ears. Size: 60mm x 45mm; Weight: 43g Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Belgium; formerly in a German private collection before 2000.
