GREEK BLACK-GLAZE VOTIVE JUG. Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A black-glazed pottery jug with a squat body on a flat base, a short concave neck and a broad everted rim. A single strap handle joins the shoulder to the rim. The underside is reserved except for a circle with a central dot. Size: 70mm x 100mm; Weight: 140g Private London collection; previously acquired on the Belgian art market; originally in the collection of C D'hondt, Liege 1980’s.
