ROMANO-EGYPTIAN GOLD SNAKE RING.
Ca. 100 BC - AD 100.
A gold snake ring formed from a round-section hoop that crosses at the shoulders to form an X-shaped junction. The two terminals are rendered as confronting serpent heads with large eyes and lightly incised scales.
