ROMAN HIGH KARAT GOLD RING WITH RED JASPER INTAGLIO WITH INSCRIPTION 'NECIM'. Ca. AD 1 - 300. A substantial gold ring of rounded section tapering slightly to the back, mounted with an oval collet housing a red jasper intaglio engraved in retrograde with the legend 'NECIM', with an eight-rayed star beneath and a small emblem above.
